West Lafayette Red Devils Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-0 loss to Harrison on Monday. Harrison took the lead on a sacrifice fly in the first inning.

The West Lafayette Red Devils Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Harrison, giving up 14 runs.

In the first inning, Harrison got their offense started. Jocey Gault’s sac fly scored one run for Harrison.

Lexi Knipp got the start for Harrison. She allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine.

Anna Steffey led things off in the circle for West Lafayette Red Devils Varsity. She went two and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 runs on 11 hits. Paige Hilleboe threw one and one-third innings in relief.

Harrison tallied 14 hits on the day. Jozie Ramer, Anna Henderson, Emma Henderson, and Knipp all collected multiple hits for Harrison. Ramer went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Harrison in hits.
