West Lafayette Red Devils Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 17-3 loss to Benton Central on Tuesday. Benton Central scored on a single by Stephanie Cummings, a sacrifice fly by Lexi Tompkins, a single by Charity Gerlach, and a single by Sarah Ward in the first inning.
The West Lafayette Red Devils Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Benton Central, giving up 17 runs.
